Pine Butte Builders, Inc., was established in 1989 by Joel Mumford, a second-generation builder, who began his professional career with a major real estate development company based in the Midwest.  Through those years of experience, building projects around the country, he learned a multitude of skills involving not just the nuts and bolts of construction on both large and small projects, but knowledge of cost estimating, budgeting, and the development of construction timelines that allowed him to achieve success in running his own company.

Since moving to the Pacific Northwest, Joel and his wife, Cindy, have dedicated the past 25 years to building, constructing & remodeling the finest in custom projects for families and companies just like yours. Joel manages the construction end of their family business, while Cindy manages the office and bookkeeping tasks for the company. Joel’s philosophy of treating each project as if a member of his family were going to own it, means he is on every project daily and oversees all phases of construction. He has developed a team of quality subcontractors who know the type of quality he demands and are always ready to deliver it. Joel’s goal is to guarantee that each project is constructed with the time and attention it deserves.
